In this role you drive the data strategy for a key product domain (e.g., Growth, Retention, Marketplace) at Preply. You partner with leaders across Product, Engineering, and Business to shape long-term decisions based on rigorous measurement. You design scaleable experiments, model long-term value, and define essential metrics to guide the roadmap. You will influence cross-functional teams and elevate analytical standards in a dynamic, integral Learner-Tutor marketplace.

Responsabilidades
Develop strategic understanding of key value drivers in your domain and translate into decision frameworks for leadership
Define long-term measurement and experimentation strategy for your domain
Design, execute and evaluate large-scale experiments to drive business outcomes
Lead deep analyses of customer behavior and retention to improve long-term value




Own impact modeling and scenario analysis for major product initiatives with robust forecasting
Govern key metrics to ensure alignment with company goals
Act as senior thought partner to product, engineering and data leaders
Lead cross-domain analytical initiatives (e.g., LTV modeling, pricing strategy, marketplace health)
Requisitos principales
Track record influencing product or business strategy in complex environments with clear impact
Expertise in experimentation and causal inference under imperfect conditions
Strong understanding of subscription and xqbhyrx marketplace economics (LTV, cohorts, retention, pricing)
Strong technical proficiency (SQL, Python) and ability to elevate others’ analytical work
Experience mentoring senior data scientists and growing the data org
Curiosity, problem-solving and critical thinking; proactive in addressing challenges
Ability to influence Directors and VP-level stakeholders in strategic discussions
Interest in shaping product roadmap and strategy
