As a Frontend Engineer in Hays’ Barcelona office, you join a Platform team shaping core internal applications used across product squads. You will own and evolve the frontend stack for backoffice apps, delivering scalable, high-performance interfaces. You’ll design reusable UI components, collaborate with product, design and engineering, and drive frontend architecture and best practices. The role focuses on performance, accessibility, and continuous improvement within a modern tech environment. This is a hands-on role with a strong impact on internal digital solutions.

Responsabilidades
Own frontend development within shared backoffice applications
Build and ship new features aligned to product/company needs
Design and maintain reusable UI components and shared libraries




Integrate frontend with backend services (REST/GraphQL)
Drive frontend architecture decisions and promote best practices
Collaborate with product owners, designers and engineers to deliver scalable solutions
Perform code reviews, debugging and troubleshooting to ensure quality
Contribute to performance optimisation, accessibility and testing practices
Support other engineers and help evolve the frontend ecosystem
Requisitos principales
Experience as a Frontend Engineer or similar role
Strong experience with React (or similar)
Solid JavaScript/TypeScript xqbhyrx skills
Experience creating reusable component libraries and design systems
Experience integrating APIs (REST/GraphQL) and managing state
Understanding of performance optimisation, accessibility and testing
Experience in cross-functional teams
Agile mindset and experience in iterative environments
Fluent or advanced level of English
