As Senior Principal Business Architect, you will shape Roche’s architectural vision to align with business goals and the Reference Architecture. You’ll guardian Roche’s architectural standards, drive reusable, scalable components, and enable seamless integration across systems. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, scalable digital product solutions and advance Roche’s common platform strategy. This role offers impact at scale, shaping how digital medical products are engineered and deployed across a global ecosystem.
Responsabilidades
Guard the Architecture roadmap and Reference Architecture for the Roche Ecosystem
Collaborate with Engineers, Product Managers, Sales, Medical teams, and other stakeholders to design scalable, reliable solutions
Guide the technical solution process to integrate applications using Roche’s Reference Architecture building blocks
Support Development and Solution Architects to deliver strategic outcomes and robust service delivery
Foster high‑quality maintenance, enhancements, and strategic projects aligned with the Roche Ecosystem strategy
Define reusable architectural components aligned with regulations, best practices, and Roche standards
Analyze non-functional requirements (security, scalability, performance) and address risks
Develop architecture blueprints and frameworks to foster innovation and value creation




Deliver technology strategies and roadmaps aligned with the Roche Ecosystem Strategy and Reference Architecture
Maintain architectural guidelines to support engineering excellence
Lead adoption of Roche Reference Architecture across project teams
Identify and address technical gaps in Roche Reference Architecture with innovative solutions
Engage stakeholders to ensure architecture meets business and engineering needs
Drive architecture strategy initiatives for digital transformation, scalability, and innovation
Lead architectural decision‑making to ensure consistency across customer‑facing products
Requisitos principales
BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
10+ years of experience in business architecture or related roles with focus on reference architecture xqbhyrx and shared platform strategies
Strong understanding of business architecture principles and translating goals into platform strategies
Experience in platform strategies, technical integration, and building block‑based solutions
Expertise in software development methodologies, architectural governance, APIs, and shared services models
Ability to analyze non‑functional requirements (security, reliability, scalability) and address them in solutions
