In this Data Engineer role, you will lead the cloud transformation for our client’s Corporate Stock Valuation squad, migrating critical financial processes from Teradata to Google Cloud (BigQuery). You’ll architect scalable data infrastructure and partner with Finance to align technical solutions with business goals. Expect to tackle complex data pipelines, ensure accuracy and performance for general reporting, and mentor peers through code reviews and knowledge sharing. This is a strategic, cross-functional position with meaningful impact on financial decision-making and reporting.

Responsabilidades
Modernize core architectures by migrating financial workloads from Teradata to GCP (BigQuery)
Design and execute financial simulations to support leadership decisions during key events
Iterate and optimize data pipelines for long-term stability and performance




Peer code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing to uplift the team
Translate financial logic into automated data solutions in collaboration with Product Owners and Finance
Collaborate cross-functionally to improve agile development practices
Requisitos principales
Degree in IT or equivalent practical experience in software/data engineering within agile environments (Scrum/Kanban, DevOps, CI/CD)
Extensive GCP experience with BigQuery SQL, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub
Proven data integration xqbhyrx and migration experience from Teradata to BigQuery or similar cloud transitions
Infrastructure-as-Code experience with Terraform; version control with Git; automated testing practices
Fluent in English and German for cross-border collaboration
Strong communication across cross-functional teams
Proactive and collaborative mindset
Ability to bridge business needs and technical implementation
