In this role you contribute to developing electrical and electronic systems for satellite platforms and payloads within a multidisciplinary team. You will define and maintain requirements, review digital hardware and FPGA designs, and help set data interfaces, testing and verification strategies. You collaborate with procurement, AIT and quality teams to mitigate risks and ensure on-cost, on-time, on-quality delivery. This is an opportunity to contribute to space projects at Airbus Defence and Space.

Responsabilidades
Coordinate with the System Electrical Architect to manage technical aspects of on-board DHS and related equipment
Elaborate and maintain technical requirements specifications for on-board sub-systems and digital boards
Review subcontractor hardware and FPGA designs and related documentation
Contribute to SW data bus protocols and processor/memory budgets from a hardware perspective
Design specific electrical circuits (digital) and review PCB layouts




Define system verification and validation strategy; prepare and maintain test specifications and verification documentation
Manage electrical interfaces (TM/TC, data links, harness, power budget, EMC)
Support Procurement in technical follow-up, risk assessment, and RFD/RFW handling
Assist AIT in test systems and integration/test activities; review test reports
Support Quality in anomaly investigations and NRBs; provide technical input
Create technical documentation, deliver presentations, and contribute to proposals
Lead and support technical reviews with equipment/board suppliers
Collaborate with thermal, mechanical, and harness teams throughout the lifecycle
Requisitos principales
Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
5+ xqbhyrx years of space project experience
Space digital electronics detailed design and testing
Requirements management
Subcontractor technical management
English advanced level
Spanish advanced level
ESA standards experience (ECSS)
Desirable: space microprocessor/SoCs HW design, space FPGA design (VHDL, simulation, P&R;), DOORS requirements management, LT/PSPICE and/or MATLAB, ALTIUM, PYTHON, power electronics design and EMC engineering
