In this Staff Software Engineer role within the Supply domain, you steer the architectural direction for modernizing a Go-based stack toward Java/Kotlin/Spring, leading cross-domain migration with zero downtime. You will mentor engineers, define patterns, and coordinate with product teams to balance tech debt and new value. The role emphasizes strong observability, global collaboration, and the use of AI-assisted tools to accelerate refactoring. You’ll work on high-impact initiatives that shape the platform powering a large, global marketplace for survey data.

Responsabilidades
Design patterns for legacy displacement to move domains out of the monolith with zero downtime
Own architectural vision for legacy displacement across the domain, defining patterns and standards
Mentor senior and mid-level engineers and improve design quality through reviews




Build new services and help transition others from Go to Spring across codebases
Partner with product managers to shape requirements and roadmaps balancing debt and value
Communicate effectively across timezones; produce clear async documentation
Improve observability using Grafana and tracing to keep backend systems healthy
Leverage AI tooling (e.g., Claude Code) to accelerate refactoring and development workflows
Requisitos principales
10+ years of backend engineering experience with production-critical systems
Deep backend expertise xqbhyrx with capability to work across languages; frontend experience with React welcomed
Strong collaboration mindset with mentoring and knowledge sharing
Experience with event-driven architectures and monolith migrations
Commitment to quality with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
Product-minded pragmatic approach and understanding of business impact
