Overview As a Data Engineer, you design and maintain scalable data pipelines, databases, and analytics platforms to support cloud-based digital applications in food and beverage processing. You will collaborate with product and process teams to enable advanced analytics, AI solutions, and predictive maintenance. Based in Alcobendas, Naas, or Bogota, you help scale data architectures and ensure data quality, governance, and security. Responsabilidades Design, develop, and maintain data solutions using Azure, Databricks, InfluxDB and industrial IoT data sources.
Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data integration and analytics.
Create data models, relationships, and schemas supporting analytics, ML, and digital products.
Develop API-based integrations using REST and JSON.




Establish data quality, governance, security, and lifecycle standards.
Ensure scalable, reliable architectures aligned with enterprise standards.
Ingest operational and equipment data from industrial systems into cloud platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions and AI-enabled value.
Requisitos principales Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field
Microsoft Azure Certifications
3-7 years of experience in Data Engineering, Cloud Data Platforms, or Analytics Solutions
Experience developing Azure cloud-based data solutions
Experience working with large volumes of time-series and industrial data
Data Modelling, Data Governance, Metadata Management, Time-Series Database Design, Query Optimization, Workflow Orchestration, REST APIs
Proven experience in Agile/Scrum
Awareness of IEC 62443 standards
Desirable: Machine Learning, AI, and Data Scie
