Job Description
We are looking for an experienced EMEA Network Architect / Senior Network Engineer with deep, hands‐on expertise in Juniper-based Data Center fabrics to design, build, and support modern EVPN/VXLAN environments across our EMEA estate. This is a senior, delivery-focused role for someone equally comfortable producing HLD/LLD documentation and getting into the CLI to troubleshoot a live spine‐leaf fabric.
Mandatory Technical Skills
7+ years of hands‐on experience in enterprise Data Center networking.
Strong expertise with Juniper EX and QFX platforms.
Advanced knowledge of JunOS, including operational troubleshooting, upgrades, automation, and configuration management.
Proven experience designing and operating EVPN/VXLAN-based Data Center fabrics.
Deep understanding of BGP EVPN Control Plane, VXLAN Overlay Networks, Spine‐Leaf architectures, Anycast Gateway, Layer 2/Layer 3 extension strategies.
Experience with Juniper Virtual Chassis and Virtual Chassis Fabric (VCF) deployments.
Strong routing knowledge: BGP, OSPF, IS-IS (preferred), MPLS basics.
Experience with Data Center migration and transformation projects.
Strong troubleshooting capabilities across Underlay networks, Overlay networks, Routing and switching, Multicast, High availability designs.
Preferred Technical Skills
Experience with automation: Python, Ansible, REST APIs, Infrastructure as Code principles.
Experience integrating physical and virtual networking environments.
Familiarity with VMware NSX networking concepts.
Experience with cloud connectivity: Azure ExpressRoute, Hybrid networking architectures.
Knowledge of load balancing technologies (AVI, F5, Citrix ADC).
Architecture & Design Experience
Ability to create High Level and Low Level Designs (HLD/LLD).
