Overview In this role you will lead the design vision for Deel's AI vertical, shaping AI-powered experiences across Deel's platform. You'll own end-to-end design strategy for Deel AI, Akai, conversational interfaces, agents, and developer tools, spanning in-chat flows to proactive notifications and human-in-the-loop interventions. You'll collaborate with the Principal Designer to ensure a coherent, intelligent system and guide a growing design team to deliver high-impact AI experiences. Responsabilidades Lead AI design strategy for Deel AI, Akai, conversational interfaces, agents, labs, and developer tools
Establish craft standards for AI interactions and ensure coherence across AI experiences




Drive cross-team collaboration within the AI vertical and with design system, engineering, product, and leadership
Own outcomes with prioritization and trade-offs to unblock teams and maintain momentum across AI portfolio
Champion user research and customer insights, and shape AI design direction with market analysis
Coach and grow the design team, mentoring designers and promoting repeatable approaches
Shape design org culture within the AI vertical and invest in talent development
Requisitos principales 8+ years as a Product Designer in a fast-paced environment
3+ years at Staff level or above
Deep experience designing AI-powered products including conversational interfaces and intelligent automation
Portfolio demonstrating AI/ML product design and zero-to-one to scaling experience
Strong UI/UX/interaction/visual design skills for complex workflows
Ability to collaborate with ML engineers and researchers on interaction models and trust
