Overview
In this role you will drive continuous improvement of machinery assembly performance within Volpak's Operations team, applying Lean Six Sigma methods to raise efficiency and reliability. You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations and Quality to translate technical solutions into standardized assembly practices. You will lead projects to enhance features, design tooling, and transform knowledge into Standard Work. This is a hands-on position that combines data-driven improvements with cross-functional teamwork to deliver measurable results in a integral manufacturing setting.
Responsabilidades Drive continuous improvement of machine assembly features for performance, durability and reliability within cost, timing, quality, and KPI constraints
Design dedicated assembly tooling to boost efficiency, quality, ergonomics and repeatability
Lead kick-off and close-out meetings for assembly projects and analyze end-to-end process data to identify improvements
Translate engineering information to stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment in assembly activities




Convert production know-how into Standard Work including procedures and best practices
Ensure proper configuration of devices, machines, and groups to minimize obsolescence
Handle department administrative tasks (quotations, purchase requests)
Requisitos principales Engineering degree (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or equivalent)
5–6+ years of experience in a similar role
Proven experience applying Lean principles in manufacturing (e.g., production BOM, lean cell design, standard work, 5S)
Knowledge of 3D CAD (SolidWorks and Composer)
Strong data analysis skills to define improvement strategies
MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel)
Knowledge of SAP
Good command of English and Spanish
Willingness to travel worldwide
