Overview As a Software Engineer on the Payments Platform, you help build and scale Flywire's general payment engine, impacting speed, reliability and client experience. You'll contribute across backend and possibly full-stack areas, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-volume, secure payment services. The role blends hands-on engineering with exposure to cloud, AI-enabled development and platform engineering, in a fast-growing FinTech environment. Investigate production issues and resolve technical problems

Requisitos principales Around 2 years' experience in software or application development
Strong fundamentals in software engineering, backend or full stack
Experience with APIs, web services or REST-based architecture
Understanding of object-oriented design
Exposure to relational databases
Interest in scalable systems, cloud platforms and reliability
Ability to learn new languages, frameworks and tools
Curiosity about AI, LLMs and modern engineering workflows
Excellent communication and English proficiency
Product-minded with awareness of how engineering decisions affect customers and the business
Valencia-based or open to relocating to Valencia in S
