Overview In this role you drive APQP4Wind and PPAP processes to qualify suppliers and secure robust manufacturing performance. You collaborate across Engineering, Operations and Program Management to resolve supplier quality issues from pre-production through launch and post-launch. You lead supplier readiness reviews, support run-at-rate validation, and push continuous quality improvements aligned with Nordex's sustainability and product-coupled goals. You act as the technical authority on propulsion manufacturing processes and standardization initiatives.
Responsabilidades
Lead APQP4Wind and PPAP activities for supplier engagement
Assess and develop supplier manufacturing processes for quality, capacity, and capability
Drive resolution of supplier-related quality issues from pre-production through post-launch
Serve as technical authority for propulsion manufacturing processes
Conduct supplier readiness reviews and launch support including run-at-rate and PPAP validation
Collaborate cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement and quality alignment
Participate in Material Review Boards and supplier performance reviews
Contribute to supplier quality improvement goals and ongoing supplier management through audits and regular contact
Provide technical support to receiving inspection and support trend/root-cause investigations
Assist suppliers with inspection validation during qualification phase
Lead standardization projects and establish common rules for supplier assessments
Requisitos principales 5+ years of professional experience as Manufacturing and/or Supplier Quality Engineer/specialist in qualifying blade materials, composites, or related
ISO9000/CQMS Lead/ Internal auditor qualification
Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO9001), Supplier Quality Management, inspection methodologies and quality improvement tools
Experience driving APQP/APQP4Wind, FMEAs
Understanding of Six Sigma & Lean methodology (preferred)
SAP proficiency is a plus
