Overview
In this role you will own end-to-end payroll execution for target countries, applying deep knowledge of local regulations and payroll systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, timely payroll while driving process improvements. You'll act as the regional expert on payroll and HR matters, guiding vendors and internal stakeholders through regulatory changes. This position offers impact at scale within a fast-growing, globally distributed company that supports diverse workers. You will help shape the infrastructure for the future of global work.

Responsabilidades Evaluate and select payroll software aligned with Deel requirements
Ensure accurate and timely payroll execution in your region and in other trained countries
Prepare and reconcile internal payroll reports for local tax compliance
Manage local payroll and HR processes, including employee onboarding/offboarding
Schedule payroll expense collections and reconcile to expenses
Assess and improve growth-related processes to maintain compliance
Monitor regulatory changes and communicate key updates across teams
Provide cross-functional expertise on local payroll and HR matters
Respond to complex payroll and HR questions from employees and clients
Requisitos principales Bachelor in Business (or related field)
5+ years of payroll and HR experience in Belgium
Strong knowledge of local payroll regulations and policies
Ability to manage multiple tasks with deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication with clients and stakeholders
Interpersonal skills to explain complex issues clearly
Advanced knowledge of local payroll software solutions
Intermediate Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets proficiency
Fluent in English
Fluency in French or Dutch
