Overview As an SAP Basis Expert, you will oversee the administration, maintenance, and optimization of SAP landscapes across development, QA, and production. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure stability, performance, and scalability while guiding upgrades, patching, and backups in on-premises and cloud-hosted environments. You will shape system architecture, security, and disaster recovery strategies, enabling reliable integrations with non-SAP systems. This role offers impact through sustaining high-availability SAP operations and driving cost-efficient performance improvements.
Responsabilidades Administer SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, Solution Manager, PI/PO) across multiple landscapes
Install, upgrade, migrate, and apply patches to SAP systems
Tune performance and troubleshoot runtime issues
Manage SAP databases (HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2) including backup/recovery
Implement and operate SAP Transport Management System (TMS)
Ensure security and compliance via roles, authorizations, and SSL certificates
Coordinate with cloud/infrastructure teams for Azure,



AWS, GCP hosting
Support SAP-to-non-SAP integrations
Plan and execute system refreshes, client copies, and DR exercises
Provide go-live, performance testing, and maintenance support
Monitor and optimize SAP landscape for cost, performance, and scalability
Maintain detailed system documentation and runbooks
Requisitos principales Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
7+ years of hands-on SAP Basis administration
Proven experience with SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA, and SAP HANA Database
Strong knowledge of SAP landscape design, sizing, and capacity planning
Experience with SAP upgrades, kernel patches, and support packs
Good understanding of SAP Security, Transport Management, and Change Control processes
Experience with OS and DB-level administration (Linux/Unix, Windows, HANA/Oracle)
Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) and SAP E
