We are currently looking for a Senior Back-end Engineer - PHP, Payments Team in EMEA . In this role, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of a high-performance Payments system supporting global e-commerce operations. The position involves designing and implementing robust backend workflows, applying best practices in Domain-Driven Design and Event Sourcing. This role provides a dynamic environment where innovation, quality, and technical mentorship are highly valued.
Accountabilities Design, develop, and maintain backend systems for payments, ensuring scalability and robustness
Implement workflows and orchestration logic for high-load, distributed payment systems using Temporal.Collaborate with product teams to define features, resolve bugs, and improve code quality




Maintain high standards in testing, CI/CD, and software development best practices
Requirements 5+ years of experience with PHP development
Quality-focused mindset: testing (TDD preferred), SOLID principles, pair programming, and Agile methodologies
