Scopely is seeking a highly motivated Senior/Software Engineer to join our Playgami team in Barcelona on a hybrid basis

Design, architect, and help implement features to run world-class games at scale
Take ownership for the quality of what the team creates, helping to establish good practices
Deliver code and supporting documentation of the highest quality through good design, attention to detail, and system testing on a timely basis
Work in an agile environment where your opinions matter
Team up with skilled colleagues that are committed to delivering the best products possible
Team player with good communication skills, someone who is easy to work with




Strong computer science and engineering fundamentals (data structures, concurrency, design patterns, algorithms)
High-quality and maintainable code writing
Mastery of Java, C#, or another OO language, including experience with asynchronous, multi-threaded, parallel programming paradigms

Hands-on experience with cloud computing (AWS, GCP...)
Experience with low-latency, high-volume distributed systems and Big Data computing technologies
