Overview As R&D; Manager for the rubber business, you define and drive the integral R&D; strategy and steer new product development for rubber power transmission belts. You lead an interdisciplinary team and coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Purchasing and Sales to ensure market success. Lead and develop the R&D; team (product engineering, materials, laboratory and testing)
Drive new product development and continuous improvement of rubber power transmission belts
Research, develop and validate rubber compounds, reinforcements and surface treatments
Improve product performance (durability, energy efficiency, noise,



vibration, thermal and chemical resistance)
Define and oversee product testing, validation and homologation
Manage R&D; budget, priorities and resource allocation
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Purchasing and Sales for industrialization and market success
Resolve product issues with Quality and Engineering to ensure reliability
Requisitos principales Engineering degree (Industrial, Chemical, Materials or similar)
5+ years of experience in industrial R&D;, preferably in rubber or elastomer products
Proven experience managing technical teams and projects
Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes and testing
Fluent in Spanish and English
