AI Engineer
Beeming Group GmbH | navyra.de · Remote within the EU · Spain / Canary Islands a plus · Freelance / Project-Based · English-speaking team
About navyra navyra builds solutions for challenges German mid-sized companies cannot solve with another slide deck. We automate processes, build AI-powered workflows and assistants, help companies meet growing compliance requirements, and preserve critical knowledge before it leaves the organisation.
We don't stop at recommendations. We build and implement.
AI is a core part of how we do that. But we don't build AI for the sake of AI. We build systems that solve real operational problems, integrate into existing environments and can actually be used and maintained. One principle is non-negotiable: our clients' data stays their data. Data sovereignty, security and traceability are part of the architecture from day one.
We are looking for an AI Engineer who can turn these principles into working systems.
What you will do
You take AI projects from requirement to production.
You will design and build AI applications, agents and automations; connect models with company data, APIs and existing systems; implement retrieval, tool use and orchestration where they make sense; and decide when cloud models, open models or local infrastructure are the better choice.
You won't just receive technical specifications. You will need to understand the presente business problem, challenge assumptions and translate requirements into an architecture that works in the real world.
That also means thinking about security, privacy, observability, maintainability and the boundaries of what an AI system should be allowed to do.
What you bring
We care less about a particular CV than about whether you can actually build.
You should be comfortable working across modern AI engineering, including:
- LLMs and their APIs as well as open-source models
- RAG, agents, tool/function calling and AI orchestration
- Python and modern backend/API development
- Cloud infrastructure on at least one major platform
- APIs, databases and integration with existing business systems
- Git, testing, deployment and automation
- Security, privacy and data-sovereign architectures
- Evaluating new models, frameworks and tools without chasing every new trend
Professional English is required. German is helpful, but not mandatory. Our clients are primarily German; our internal working language is English.
Degrees and certificates matter less to us than what you can build.
Don't send us a cover letter. Show us your work.
We want to see something you have actually built. Send us a repository, demo, application, agent, automation or small AI system where you played a significant role in the architecture and implementation.
Tell us briefly
What does it solve? What did you build? Which technical decisions did you make – and why?
A short CV, LinkedIn or GitHub profile alongside it is enough.
How we work
We build systems that go live.
That means taking responsibility beyond the prototype: for architecture, implementation, security and whether the solution still works six months later.
We prefer clear thinking over jargon, pragmatic engineering over unnecessary complexity, and solutions people actually use over impressive demos nobody needs.
If that sounds like how you like to work, we should talk.
Practical
- Freelance / project-based to start
- Fully remote within the EU
- Spain or the Canary Islands is a plus
- Direct involvement in client projects
- Real production systems, not innovation theatre
- Opportunity to grow with navyra
