Overview In this Backend Engineer role, you contribute across the full feature lifecycle to build scalable backend systems for the Grow & Engage domain. You collaborate with Product Owners and Designers to translate user needs into robust services that support customers from day one. The role sits in a mission-driven team with a focus on modern cloud architectures and continuous discovery, design, and delivery.

You'll work in a hybrid setup in Berlin or Barcelona and help shape impactful fintech features and performance.

Responsabilidades Participate in discovery, design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance of software

Manage individual project priorities and deliverables within a collaborative team

Stay up to date with technology trends and share findings during Get Stuff Done Days (GSDD)





Collaborate with Product Owners and Designers to translate requirements into backend solutions

Contribute to scalable, secure, well-documented codebase

Requisitos principales Experience in developing software using a JVM language and Spring Boot in large-scale production systems (Kotlin a plus)

Solid understanding of microservice architecture

Experience with relational and non-relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL

Knowledge of cloud architecture, preferably AWS

Strong bias for action and delivery

Commitment to security-focused development and well-tested, well-documented code

Ability to give and receive open, direct, timely feedback
