Overview In this backend-focused role, you will help build and scale Deel's APIs and services used by general customers. You'll work with cross-functional teams to design robust features, optimize performance, and ensure a customer-centric engineering approach. Responsabilidades Collaborate in a cross-functional team (Frontend, Product, Designers, QA) to deliver seamless experiences

Participate in product planning from discovery to deployment throughout the SDLC

Develop and enhance features, APIs, and continually improve products





Identify and fix bugs rapidly to maintain Deel speed

Deliver quality engineering with a customer-centric focus

Requisitos principales Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript proficiency

Experience with at least one other server-side language

SQL expertise with PostgreSQL, query optimization, migrations, data modeling

Strong understanding of OOP and design patterns

Designing scalable systems to handle high growth and load

API development with input validation, JWT, and secure, scalable queue-based architectures

At least 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer

Remote collaboration and proactive communication

Ownership and autonomy balanced with teamwork

Clear explanation of complex technical concepts to varied audiences
