Overview

As a Big Data Architect, you shape data platform architectures from the early stages in a cross-functional Data Engineering setting. You collaborate with the Lead Big Data Engineer, Enterprise Data Architect and Lead BI to define future-state platforms and size large tasks. You communicate emerging technologies to diverse stakeholders and promote best practices for data accuracy and reusability.

You help drive scalable solutions that align with the team's data governance and engineering goals. This is a chance to influence how data powers gaming products at scale.

Responsabilidades Assess and design the as-is vs. future data platform with the BDE team lead

Perform gap analysis and drive implementation with governance and DevOps stakeholders

Stay current on leading Big Data technologies and communicate them to the team

Ensure coding standards, data accuracy, validity and reusability

Utilize strong SQL knowledge across relational and columnar databases





Collaborate with stakeholders for research and effort sizing

Support refinement sessions to improve estimates

Draft work that avoids silos and promotes cross-team contribution

Provide input in project planning and peer reviews

Requisitos principales Data modeling and schema design

Experience with data warehouses, data lakes and data schemas

Deep understanding of data flows, lifecycle and enterprise data frameworks

Proficiency in relational and non-relational databases (SQL, NoSQL)

Strong hands-on ETL/ELT, data integration and pipelines

Familiarity with data governance, lineage and metadata management

Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services

Understanding of modern data stacks and streaming technologies

Knowledge of data privacy, security frameworks and regulatory compliance

Ability to design secure architectures and implement data protection strategies
