Overview
As an ERTMS Software Engineer, you configure and design wayside ERTMS equipment for main line projects, enabling safe, automated rail operations. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver ETCS configurations within scope and milestones. Your role covers all phases from requirements through commissioning, supporting testing and safety teams. This is a chance to shape railway signaling functionality in international projects with a focus on safety and reliability.

Responsabilidades Act as technical expert for ETCS subsystem behavior, engineering rules and data preparation
Engineer ETCS-specific configuration based on project requirements
Create and maintain ETCS software ensuring delivery within budget and milestones
Support testing,
verification and safety teams with software configuration and log analysis
Drive all phases of the ATC application engineering cycle from requirements to commissioning
Requisitos principales Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field
Solid experience in Rail Signaling, specifically ATC technologies (ERTMS, ASFA)
Knowledge of SUBSET 026, 039, 040, and CENELEC standards; V-life Cycle models
Strong analytical skills for requirements analysis and data handling (Excel, VBA)
Fluency in English and Spanish for international projects strong analytical and problem-solving skills ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams proactive and adaptable in international environments
