Overview In this role you shape and grow the Financial Risk practice within a general Tier 1 consulting firm, leading high-impact engagements for top banks. You will own the strategy, develop differentiated risk service lines, and advise senior executives, including Banco Santander, on risk and capital topics. This is a leadership-driven opportunity to influence risk approaches across major financial institutions while working in a collaborative, international, innovative environment.

Responsabilidades

Define and execute the strategy for the Financial Risk practice

Develop differentiated service lines and value propositions

Promote technical, methodological, and technological excellence within the risk function

Act as senior relationship owner for Banco Santander and grow presence with other major Spanish banks

Lead high-impact financial risk engagements focusing on credit risk, IRB/IFRS 9, and regulatory/economic capital

Oversee cross-risk frameworks including risk appetite, stress testing, ICAAP, governance





Ensure excellence in project delivery, stakeholder management, and quality assurance

Identify and pursue growth opportunities across existing and new clients; manage end-to-end commercial processes

Mentor and develop a multidisciplinary risk team; participate in recruitment and capability-building initiatives

Represent the firm in industry forums and thought leadership initiatives

Requisitos principales 10–12+ years of experience in financial risk consulting or banking risk leadership

Deep expertise in financial risk management, especially credit risk

Proven experience managing senior executive relationships in banking

Strong commercial mindset with a track record of generating business

Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary teams

Strategic thinker with executive presence

High level of English interpersonal skills stakeholder management executive presence credit risk models (IRB, IFRS 9)
