Overview In this role you serve as the IT solution owner for the R&D; Data Science team, partnering with bioinformatics, molecular modelling and AI engineering to ensure alignment and effective collaboration. You will own and support Data Science applications, coordinating end-to-end delivery with specialized IT teams and external vendors. You act as the single point of contact for Data Science users, simplifying IT interactions and driving adoption.

You will help shape technology capabilities for R&D; Data Science, enabling faster insight and scalable solutions. This position blends science and technology to enable impactful, compliant data-driven research in pharma R&D.;

Responsabilidades Lead demand intake, service coordination and project delivery for Data Science IT needs with stakeholders Manage software development lifecycle of custom Data Science tools Act as SPOC for Data Science users to streamline IT interactions Evolve technology capabilities for R&D; Data Science across platforms and AI/ML workloads Translate requirements into IT deliverables with clear scope and timelines Coordinate governance, security, compliance and risk management for DS solutions Ensure documentation, knowledge transfer and smooth handover to IT support Maintain data science system maps and DS-developed software supporting R&D; operations Ensure backup, data integrity,



security and GxP compliance for systems and pipelines Contribute to cost-efficient technology decisions aligned with long-term R&D; strategy Drive agile project management to accelerate delivery and insight generation Represent Data Science growth needs in IT planning for scalability Design and evolve end-to-end DS architecture with cross-functional IT teams Orchestrate cross-functional delivery across Data & AI, Infra & Ops, Security and Digital Solutions Requisitos principales 5+ years in R&D; Pharma collaborating with bioinformatics and IT teams Deep understanding of R&D; Data Science workflows (omics, bioinformatics, AI/ML pipelines, computational modeling) Ability to translate scientific challenges into scalable IT solutions Experience in HPC, cloud platforms (preferably Azure) or equivalent compute architectures Strong knowledge of advanced computing environments supporting analytics and simulation workloads Broad Pharma industry understanding including security and GxP compliance Proficiency in Python, Linux, Apache, Postgres, Bash, R, Gitlab, Shiny server, Posit Workbench & Connect, package management and automation, Docker CI/CD, Kubernetes, LakeHouse/DataBricks Experience in end-to-end data and cloud architectures for complex environments Proven track record leading cross-functional teams including external vendors Experience managing full solution lifecycles from ideation to production and evolution Ability to enable innovation while balancing agility with enterprise architecture Cross-functional collaboration Stakeholder management Strategic thinking Python Linux Apache
