Working closely with urban designers, planners, architects, and engineers, we help shape projects ranging from city-scale developments and transport infrastructure to parks, public realm, and nature-based solutions across Spain and internationally.

The Opportunity

Join our Landscape Architecture team and gain hands-on experience on projects that are transforming cities and communities. As a trainee, you will work alongside experienced designers and multidisciplinary teams, contributing to real projects from concept development through to detailed design. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your technical, creative, and professional skills while learning how landscape architecture contributes to creating more sustainable, inclusive, and resilient places.

As a Landscape Architecture Trainee At Arup, You Will

- Support the design and delivery of landscape, public realm, and urban development projects within multidisciplinary teams.
- Assist in the preparation of drawings, visualisations, reports, and presentations using industry-standard design software.
- Contribute to site analysis, landscape assessments, sustainability strategies,



and nature-based design solutions.
- Participate in project workshops, internal design reviews, and meetings with clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with colleagues across different disciplines and offices to develop innovative and integrated design solutions.

About We're looking for graduates who are passionate about landscape architecture, sustainable design, and creating better places for people and nature. We also value:

- Currently studying Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Urban Design, Environmental Design, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of landscape design principles and an interest in sustainable and climate-responsive design.
- Proficiency in one or more design software packages such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, SketchUp, Revit, or GIS tools.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
- A proactive attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn in a collaborative environment.
