About VidGuyWe're an AI-native social distribution platform. You give us a prompt, we turn it into finished short-form video and post it to TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts — automatically. We work with startups and consumer brands who need to be everywhere, constantly, without building a content team.
We're small, we ship fast, and we're figuring things out in public. Two founders. No layers. If you join, you'll be talking to us every day.
The roleYou'll be the person who takes content from "made" to "live and performing."
Most of your week is hands-on with the platforms: publishing UGC-style videos across a portfolio of TikTok and Instagram accounts, writing the hooks and captions that go with them, watching what performs, and feeding that back into what we make next. It's repetitive in the way that reps at the gym are repetitive — the volume is the point, because volume is what teaches you what actually works on these platforms.
Around that, you'll get real exposure to how modern growth marketing works: account strategy, hook writing, creator briefing, performance analysis, and the AI tooling that produces the content in the first place.
To be direct about it: this is a high-volume publishing and content operations role with a marketing education wrapped around it. If you want a role where you mostly sit in strategy meetings, this isn't it. If you want to leave in six months genuinely knowing how short-form distribution works — because you ran hundreds of posts yourself — this is a very good use of your time.
What you'll actually do
- Publish and schedule UGC-style short-form video across multiple TikTok and Instagram accounts
- Write hooks, captions and on-screen text that make people stop scrolling
- Track performance — views, watch time, saves, follows — and spot the patterns
- Help brief and coordinate UGC creators
- Use our own AI video tooling to generate and iterate on content
- Bring ideas: trends worth jumping on, formats worth testing, accounts worth studying
What you'll learnThis is the part we take seriously, and we'll structure it with you at the start:
- Short-form distribution mechanics — how the TikTok and Reels algorithms actually reward content, and how to work with them instead of guessing
- Hook writing and retention — the single most transferable skill in modern marketing
- Account strategy — how to build and position a social account from zero, and why some grow and some don't
- Performance analysis — reading content data and turning it into a decision, not just a report
- AI content tooling — practical, current experience with the generation stack that's reshaping this industry
- How an early-stage startup operates — because you'll see all of it
You'll have a named supervisor (one of the founders), a written learning plan agreed at the start, and a regular feedback rhythm. Not a "figure it out and good luck" situation. Who this is for
- You're a student or recent graduate in marketing, communications, media, business or something adjacent — and you're able to arrange an internship agreement through your university or training centre (convenio de cooperación educativa, Erasmus+ traineeship, or equivalent). This is a requirement, not a nice-to-have.
- You're genuinely on TikTok and Instagram. You can name three accounts you think are underrated and say why.
- You write well in English. Spanish is a plus, other languages are a bigger plus.
- You're comfortable with volume and repetition, and you don't need someone standing over you.
- You're curious about AI tools rather than defensive about them.
You do not need: previous marketing experience, a portfolio, a following of your own, or any video editing background. We'll teach the craft. We're hiring for taste, work rate and curiosity. Practical details
- Format: Remote, based in Spain.
- Hours: Adaptable around your studies. We'll agree the schedule with you and your institution.
- Duration: 3–6 months, with a real conversation about what comes next if it goes well.
- Compensation: This is an educational placement arranged through your institution. Any grant or stipend runs through that framework (for example, an Erasmus+ traineeship grant is paid by your home university). We cover work-related costs and provide all tooling and platform access.
- Structure: Named supervisor, written learning plan, scheduled feedback, and a proper evaluation at the end for your academic credit.
How to applySkip the cover letter.
Send us two things:
1. A 30-second video, filmed on your phone, telling us about a piece of short-form content you saw recently that you thought was brilliant — and why it worked. Don't over-produce it. We want to see how you think and how you talk to a camera, not your editing skills.
2. A short note with your CV, your institution, and what kind of internship agreement you can arrange.
