Overview In this role you will lead Mechanical Integration for rolling stock projects and tenders, ensuring safety, space optimization and compliant layouts. You will collaborate with Train Design and other teams to define architecture, install lists, and 3D interfaces, while delivering high-quality General Studies outputs within schedule. You will influence design choices through simulations, weight balance, and installations management, contributing to innovative rail solutions.

Responsabilidades

Define rolling stock size to ensure traffic safety and space optimization

Perform kinematic simulations and determine relative displacements between parts

Create bogie kinematic envelope and verify no interference with adjacent installations

Balance trainset weight and manage weight evolution during tender/project phases

Define train layouts and compliance with accessibility regulations

Clarify, synthesize, analyze, allocate requirements and propose proofs

Define and implement the list of train installations (IBS) with Train Design Engineer





Manage 3D mock-up interfaces and volume for each installation

Oversee the Preferred Parts List (3PL) and ensure project objectives

Specify parts colors per Design Book

Ensure General Studies deliverables meet quality and customer acceptance

Report progress and alert on risks impacting QCD commitments

Plan General Studies activities and coordinate with subcontractors for Design Quality

Prepare and document General Studies Design Reviews and track actions

Define mitigation plans for identified risks in General Studies scope

Verify design through mock-ups or simulations

Requisitos principales Industrial Engineering degree with experience in Mechanical Engineering for railway products

Knowledge of CATIA-V5 and 3Dcom/Enovia

Knowledge in programming

Exposure to Doors is a plus

Strong communication skills in an international environment

Time management and reporting capabilities

Sense of urgency and ability to prioritise
