Overview

As Product Director for Horizontal, you will own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for OLXs core marketplace domains across consumer and seller journeys. You will lead a ~15-strong product team, collaborating with engineering, design, and commercial leads to drive growth, engagement, and monetization across multiple markets. You'll steer AI-driven transformation and incubate a fully agentic horizontal marketplace strategy.

This role shapes cross-market product thinking and high-impact delivery in a dynamic, multi-market environment.

Responsabilidades

Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Horizontal with CPO alignment

Drive customer-centric innovation to boost growth, retention, and monetization

Lead AI transformation within the horizontal domain

Oversee incubation and transition to a fully agentic horizontal marketplace

Manage a ~15-person product team with emphasis on experimentation, documentation, and discovery

Collaborate with engineering and commercial teams across markets to align product development with priorities

Identify and execute strategic monetization levers and cross-market improvements





Establish and scale best practices in product thinking and execution

Recruit, mentor, and develop product managers and leaders

Partner with finance, commercial, and other functions to build consensus on strategy

Act as a thought partner to other product and business leaders shaping OLXs future

Requisitos principales Experience leading product teams in online marketplaces or e-commerce

Proven ability to navigate two-sided marketplaces with buyers and sellers

Hands-on product management experience partnering with engineers and commercial stakeholders

Multiple years hiring and growing product teams (~15 people)

Comfort working in cross-functional, multicultural, multi-market settings

Strategic thinker balancing long-term vision with near-term goals

Experience in both 0→1 and scaling product development

Proven track record in AI-based product development cross-functional collaboration strategic thinking leadership and mentorship

AI-based product development growth and monetization strategies product management in marketplaces/e-commerce
