Overview In this role you will lead project-based purchasing to meet quality, cost and delivery targets. You will work with project managers and cross-functional teams to define sourcing plans, manage RFQs, and select suppliers. You'll oversee risk and technical management, ensuring contingency plans and supplier alignment.

You will drive early purchasing decisions, maintain SAP/PuMa data, and support a smooth transfer to serial production. This is a hands-on role at Valeo's Martos plant, with a focus on innovation and responsible, scalable sourcing.

Responsabilidades Lead purchasing activities from project kickoff to SOP

Define sourcing plans and manage RFQ process (PuMa/Auctions)

Select suppliers based on strategy and bundle opportunities

Coordinate design reviews (S-VRF) for supplier alignment





Identify critical parts and assess supplier risks; develop contingency plans

Escalate roadblocks to keep targets on track

Pilot the project purchasing index and drive action plans to meet targets

Maintain PuMa and SAP (Early Open Orders) accuracy and proper recording of milestones and contracts

Coordinate with Project Managers, Segment Leaders, and Productivity Buyers on localization and global platform needs

Manage pre-sourcing for advanced projects while protecting Intellectual Property through safeguards

Requisitos principales >3 years of purchasing experience

Engineering or automotive sector knowledge desirable

Geographic mobility (on-site)
