Overview In this role you help drive the go-to-market strategy for road freight by developing carrier relationships, negotiating spot and contractual commitments, and ensuring timely, reliable shipments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to expand carrier networks, resolve issues, and optimize loads for customer requirements. The position sits in our Barcelona office as part of the Carriers department, offering meaningful impact in a fast-growing, international logistics tech company.

Responsabilidades Build and manage contractual and spot market relationships with carriers

Conduct calls with carriers to gauge availability, negotiate rates and commitments

Assign trucks to loads for contractual and transactional shipments

Develop supply chain solutions to support customer go-to-market strategy

Research new carriers, generate leads and grow the carrier base





Maintain and grow carrier accounts and identify opportunities for additional collaboration

Ensure customer load requirements are met for both committed and ad-hoc shipments

Identify backup carriers for critical situations

Monitor market trends and seasonality to inform decisions

Collaborate with Capacity teams across branches to place offers

Requisitos principales Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

1–3 years of road freight experience and freight forwarder background

Commercial experience is mandatory

Excellent English and Spanish communication skills; additional European languages are a plus

Entrepreneurial mindset and international orientation

Strong persuasive, negotiation and influencing abilities

Ability to work under deadlines in a team and independently
