Would you like to start a new professional adventure as a Scrum Master in one of our opportunities in the Pharmaceutical / Regulated Industry in Spain?
? Your missions?
- Support 2 Focus Area Teams within a larger Agile Team made up of 4 Focus Area Teams.
- Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum, Lean-Agile practices and SAFe ways of working.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives and Backlog Refinement.
- Help teams build strong habits around self-organisation, accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with the second Scrum Master to coordinate activities across all 4 Focus Area Teams.
- Track cross-team dependencies, risks, assumptions and impediments, making sure they are visible and properly managed.
- Support the Release Train Engineer in planning and delivering Release Planning Workshops and other Team of Teams activities.
- Contribute to Product Team ceremonies and escalate risks or blockers that require Product Management support.
- Help Focus Area Leads and Product stakeholders improve planning, prioritisation and progress tracking.
- Support teams in meeting Sprint and Release objectives while keeping a sustainable pace of delivery.
- Use Agile metrics and team feedback to monitor flow, delivery health and improvement actions.
- Facilitate improvement workshops and share lessons learned across the Agile Team.
- Maintain clear communication between Delivery Teams, Focus Area Leads, Product stakeholders and enabling functions.
✍️ Your profile?
- 3–5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach or in a similar Agile delivery role.
- Hands-on experience working in a SAFe or other scaled Agile environment.
• This opportunity is preferably open to freelance professionals.
- Experience supporting several Agile teams at the same time.
- Strong knowledge of Scrum,
Lean-Agile principles, Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement practices.
- Experience coordinating Scrum of Scrums, Team of Teams activities or similar cross-team forums.
- Good understanding of Agile metrics, flow and delivery tracking.
- Experience managing dependencies, risks and impediments across multiple teams.
- Strong facilitation, coaching and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to build trust with business and IT teams and work effectively across different stakeholder groups.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.
- Professional certifications such as PSM, CSM or SAFe are a plus.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or other regulated environments, especially GxP, is a plus.
- Fluent English is required, as all communication and delivery activities are conducted in English.
- Freelance experience or availability is preferred.
? Work model
- Remote-first position based in Spain.
- Occasional presence required in Barcelona, approximately once per month.
- The team is based in Sant Cugat, so occasional on-site attendance may be required.
- The role is suitable for candidates who are comfortable working in a fully English-speaking environment.
