Role Overview As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing financial operations in a fully remote setup. This position offers the opportunity to work with multi-currency transactions and payroll operations, providing a unique chance to gain in-depth experience in the fintech environment. Key Responsibilities Manage payroll operations for over 50 contractors across multiple currencies, including FX conversions and crypto payroll processing. Handle invoice validation, vendor management, and provider fee reconciliation while maintaining accurate accounting records. Conduct reconciliations, month-end closing activities, and prepare essential financial reports like P&L;, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow. Support budgeting processes, monitor expenses, and perform budget versus presente analysis to identify cost optimization opportunities. Ensure accounting compliance and support VAT/tax processes while coordinating with auditors and external accountants. Drive accounting process improvements, maintain documentation and audit trails, and strengthen financial controls. Requirements Strong accounting knowledge with a solid understanding of IFRS/GAAP, statutory reporting, and regulatory compliance.
