Senior Data Analyst - Treasury Location: Málaga or Madrid (Spain) – Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home per week
Ebury's strategic growth plan relies on our Data Analytics & Reporting team. We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the Treasury domain.
Our data mission is to develop and maintain Ebury's Data Platform to support internal decision making, monitor Treasury positions and risks, comply with regulatory reporting obligations and enable commercial opportunities globally. The Data team works with Treasury, Product and Tech to coordinate and implement data analysis initiatives supporting cash management, ALM and Treasury reporting.
Current projects include: MtM valuations reconciliation with our Treasury reporting system to ensure completeness and accuracy in our financial statements; cash operational charges data analysis to reduce Treasury costs; liquidity data analysis to help the ALM team manage daily liquidity obligations; and building AI agentic workflows to automate routine data operations and decision support.
As part of the team you will Work closely with the rest of the Data Analysts, Analytics Engineers, Data Engineering, Treasury and Product teams
Model data in the collaborative data platform to perform critical Treasury data analysis and build reports and reconciliations for the Treasury domain
Design, build, and maintain robust AI agentic workflows and analytical tools to automate and enhance Treasury data processes and decision-making
Manage end-to-end treasury solutions across all jurisdictions of the company from requirements gathering, building optimised data models and delivering the reports to treasury stakeholders and auditors
Maintain and build dashboards and visualisations on the data platform using BI tools for Treasury teams to monitor reporting and controls
What we're looking for 6+ years of experience in Data/Business Analytics — ideally applied to Treasury or Finance
Advanced SQL skills — able to read and write complex queries
Experience with AI and agentic workflows
Experience with modern data stack tools (we use dbt, Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, DataStudio), Sigma)
Strong problem solving and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
Ability to manage, organise and present data clearly, concisely and accessibly
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding environment
Autonomous with good time management
Fluency in English
Financial Services and Capital Markets experience (FX, Payments, Money Markets, Treasury Management, etc.) is a plus
