Overview

As the operational backbone of the Data & Applied AI team, you partner with the VP to drive planning, alignment, and execution at scale. You own cadences, coordinate cross-functional work, and ensure transparency of impact across the company. You identify bottlenecks and design practical improvements to let data and AI initiatives move faster.

This role blends strategy with hands-on execution in a fast-growing, AI-enabled education platform. You help shape how the team delivers value for learners and tutors worldwide.

Responsabilidades

Own the team's operational rhythm: syncs, roadmap reviews, OKR cycles, quarterly planning, retrospectives

Lead annual and quarterly planning tying data/AI initiatives to company goals and product strategy

Manage VP's leadership calendar, prepare materials, coordinate cross-functional reviews and offsites

Prepare content and data for leadership forums and company-wide reviews

Serve as the connective tissue with Product, Engineering, Commercial, and other functions

Provide regular progress updates, dashboards, and executive-level communications

Track initiatives end-to-end, identify risks, and drive resolution

Drive lightweight, scalable tracking and reporting to maintain momentum

Identify and implement process and tooling improvements for efficiency

Support headcount planning, resource allocation,



and capacity analysis with data models

Lead or support strategic projects spanning the Data & Applied AI org

Inform decisions with sizing, benchmarking, and trade-off analyses

Requisitos principales 7+ years in strategy, operations, or planning in a high-growth tech environment

Hands-on experience with data, analytics, or AI/ML teams

Technical familiarity with data pipelines, ML models, experimentation frameworks, and AI features

Proven track record running operating cadences and cross-functional alignment

Strong program and project leadership from definition to delivery

Excellent stakeholder management with ability to influence executives

Highly data-driven with comfort building models, spreadsheets, and dashboards

SQL or BI tool experience (Looker, Tableau) a plus

Bias to action and ability to unblock work in fast-moving settings

Strong written and verbal communication for executive updates and docs

Proficient with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Cursor) and using them to accelerate work

Nice to have: prior data analyst/scientist background; experience in AI product development; marketplace/edtech familiarity stakeholder management communication clarity bias to action data pipelines
