Overview
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will design and implement electrical and automation solutions for international projects across all phases from contract to completion. You will work closely with project leadership and engineers to ensure compliance with customer specs, standards, and regulatory requirements. The role includes traveling for commissioning, coordinating tenders and on-site activities, and driving safe, high-quality delivery.
You'll lead technical interfaces with suppliers and contribute to offers, innovation, and knowledge sharing within a cross-functional team. This opportunity offers international exposure, hands-on impact, and career development in a dynamic environment

Responsabilidades
Design and implement electrical and automation solutions for international projects (2–8 per year) in collaboration with the Project Manager and other engineers
Travel and perform commissioning activities up to 45% of annual time
Ensure compliance with customer specifications, GEA standards, local regulations, and applicable norms
Prepare, maintain, and update engineering documentation per internal procedures and project requirements
Coordinate tendering and procurement for electrical cabinets manufacturing and site installations
Supervise electrical panels assembly and lead Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)
Supervise on-site installation activities and manage subcontractors and site resources
Perform equipment IO tests, measurements, troubleshooting, and commissioning support
Provide regular progress reports to Project Leaders and Managers
Promote safe working conditions and ensure compliance with safety policies
Act as technical interface with external suppliers for material selection and alignment
Support technical offers with Sales/BD teams
Make operational technical decisions within project scope and share knowledge across teams
Identify and implement innovation, tools, or products in electrical and automation domains
Requisitos principales Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; 2+ years in industrial projects
Proficiency in electrical design and calculation software (AutoCAD, EPLAN, SEE Electrical, Caneco)
Knowledge of IEC standards, European directives, and UL (UL 508A a differentiator)
Experience with PLC/HMI platforms (Siemens, Schneider, Rockwell)
Familiarity with SIL and PL safety concepts (IEC 61508/61511, ISO 13849)
ATEX awareness for equipment selection and compliance
Experience coordinating with international suppliers and subcontractors
Strong communication skills in Spanish and English (B2/C1)
Travel willingness for international assignments
