Overview In this role you will be the on-the-ground partner for Dow Jones' employee and labor strategy across Europe, ensuring compliant and productive relations to support regional growth. You will balance diplomacy with strong compliance, advising local teams and management. You will lead high-stakes ER matters, coach leaders, and shape processes and training while acting as the primary liaison with works councils and unions.

This is a high-impact, cross-border role that ties people outcomes to business agility.

Responsabilidades

Direct high-stakes employee relations matters including grievances, investigations, and hearings

Coach EMEA People Team and regional leaders on conflict resolution and risk mitigation

Develop and deliver training on performance management, dispute resolution, and employee awareness

Analyze ER data to identify trends and coordinate with stakeholders to address macro needs

Serve as primary contact for works councils, unions, and employee delegates across Spain, Germany, the UK, and France





Lead negotiations with employee representatives on CBAs, shop agreements, policy rollouts, and equality plans

Advise on terms and application of sectoral CBAs in EMEA locations

Manage stakeholder relationships to minimize conflict and enable business agility

Collaborate closely with the GM, EMEA and EMEA/Barcelona People Teams and maintain feedback with NY leadership

Requisitos principales 7+ years of HR experience focusing on employee and labor relations, performance management, and compliance

Fluency in English and Spanish

Knowledge of current Spain employment/labor laws; EU knowledge a plus

Strong project and process management with track record of delivering results

Ability to make independent, risk-based decisions in a fast-paced, global environment

Builder mindset with experience navigating complex employee ecosystems

Experience working with Collective Bargaining Agreements

Discretion and handling of confidential information

Experience collaborating with a global HR team

Negotiation and diplomacy
