The Role

Senior HPC Systems Administrator (Scientific Computing)Location: Community of Madrid, SpainWork Model: Full OnsiteLanguages: English - Professional proficiency(Mandatory) We are looking for a Senior HPC Systems Administrator to join our team. The idóneo candidate will have strong experience in High Performance Computing (HPC) environments, Linux administration, automation, and workload management systems. Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister, maintain, and optimize HPC infrastructure.

Manage Linux-based environments (Red Hat, Cent OS, and related distributions).Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, or similar nfigure, monitor, and troubleshoot HPC workload management systems, such as Slurm.

Ensure system availability, performance, security, and scalability.

Support users and scientific/engineering teams in HPC-related activities.

Participate in infrastructure improvements and capacity planning initiatives.



RequirementsStrong experience as a Linux System Administrator.

Expertise with Red Hat, Cent OS , or similar Linux distributions.

Experience with Bash, Python , or other scripting languages.

Hands-on experience with HPC Workload Managers , particularly Slurm.

Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills. Ability to work in collaborative and international environments.

Fluent English (mandatory). Nice to HaveExperience with scientific computing or research environments.

Knowledge of cluster administration and distributed computing.

Familiarity with monitoring, automation, and infrastructure management tools.
