Overview

AsSenior Information Security Infrastructure Engineer, you protect Elastic's data and systems by building and maintaining the security telemetry pipeline into Elasticsearch. You will keep Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes clusters healthy and upgrade them, while managing capacity and ILM. You'll automate cloud infrastructure with Terraform and deploy ingest jobs via Kubernetes and Helm.

You'll apply AI-driven automation to reduce toil and ensure data quality, reliability, and cost awareness. This is a hands-on role shaping security telemetry pipelines and secure cloud operations at scale.

Responsabilidades Ingest and maintain security telemetry data into Elasticsearch from cloud audits, identity/SaaS activity, and endpoint data

Keep Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes clusters healthy, including version upgrades, capacity and shard management, ILM, and cross-cluster search

Manage cloud infrastructure and Elasticsearch resources using Terraform; deploy pipelines, index templates, and alerts





Use Kubernetes and Helm to deploy scheduled ingest jobs and related infrastructure

Apply AI automation, self-healing jobs, health checks, and agent-assisted workflows to improve operations

Monitor data quality and reliability; oversee data backfills, schema consistency, and cost management

Requisitos principales Operate Elastic/Elasticsearch in production: ingest pipelines, mappings, queries, cluster health and upgrades

Experience with ECK or Elasticsearch on Kubernetes (preferred)

Proven track record using AI to accelerate development and operations while owning outcomes

Kubernetes—deploying workloads, troubleshooting pods/jobs, Helm charts, operators

Terraform—managing cloud and Elasticsearch resources as code

API integration—consuming REST APIs for ingestion: auth, pagination, rate limiting, error handling

Python scripting for ingestion/automation scripts (not full software engineering depth)

Eligibility to work in DoD Impact Level 4+ cloud environments collaboration with cross-functional teams attention to detail problem-solving mindset

Elastic/Elasticsearch production experience

Ingest pipelines, index templates, mappings, queries

ECK or Kubernetes-based Elasticsearch
