Join Keonn, part of Novanta, to develop Java applications powering high-end RFID readers and IoT devices. You will enhance and extend our embedded Java stack, drive feature development, and collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration. This role blends software and firmware work in a fast-paced, international environment with growth opportunities in RFID technology.

Responsabilidades Develop and maintain Java applications for IoT devices
Implement new features for RFID reader systems
Lead the Java development team
Debug and resolve software issues in embedded environments
Optimize code performance and memory usage
Collaborate with hardware engineers for hardware-software integration
Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards
Create and maintain technical documentation
Support testing and validation of firmware releases
Requisitos principales Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
5+ years of Java development experience, preferably in embedded systems
Strong understanding of embedded Java programming
Experience with real-time systems and multi-threading
Knowledge of network programming and communication protocols (plus)
Familiarity with RFID technology and RF systems (plus)
Experience with version control systems (Git) and agile methodologies
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Fluent in English
EU resident or possession of EU working permit leadership team collaboration problem-solving
