As a Senior Murex Developer at Talan, you will contribute to a demanding financial services project, focusing on the Murex MX.3 landscape, Datamart, batch processing, EOD operations, and market data services. You will bridge technical delivery with production support, gathering requirements and coordinating with vendors and business teams. You'll help maintain system stability and drive improvements across modules like MRB and Full Revaluation.

This role offers exposure to international teams and complex financial workflows in a growth‐focused consultancy.

Responsabilidades

Manage Murex MX.3 environments including installations, upgrades, patches, and service administration

Monitor and troubleshoot Murex services, menus, components and logs

Maintain and improve EOD processes, batch chains and processing scripts

Develop and support Murex Datamart components (extractions, feeders)

Support MDRS and market data processes within Murex

Analyze incidents across application, database, batch, integration and infrastructure layers

Develop and maintain Shell scripts and SQL components

Gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, production support, and infrastructure teams

Communicate with Murex vendor and manage technical cases via PEGA





Contribute to production stability, root cause analysis, and technical best practices

Support MRB and Full Revaluation activities including installations, scenario management, runs, exports, VaR calculations, and Ant-based automation

Provide technical guidance and share Murex knowledge with the team

Requisitos principales At least three years of hands-on Murex developer or specialist experience

Strong knowledge of Murex Datamart, extractions, feeders

Experience managing MX.3 environments and Murex installations/upgrades

Troubleshooting Murex services, menus and logs

Strong knowledge of EOD processes, batch execution and scripts

Experience with MDRS or Murex market data components

Shell scripting and SQL development experience

Basic capital markets knowledge and ability to communicate with business users

Experience gathering requirements and supporting technical or production issues

Experience communicating with Murex as vendor, ideally via PEGA

English at C1 level or above

Nice to have: MRB/Full Revaluation knowledge, VaR concepts, MRB module installation, Ant scripts, scenario containers and MRB executions

Spanish language skills (nice to have)
