Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer on The Knot Worldwides Barcelona Acquisition Team, you will design and build landing experiences that drive discovery, activation, and app adoption. You'll work with product, design, and other engineers to deliver scalable solutions and improve performance for high-traffic channels. You'll mentor peers, influence architecture, and push for quality through robust testing and documentation.

Responsabilidades Develop landing experience apps and services to create strong first impressions

Design, implement, and maintain scalable software aligned with product and engineering goals

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver solutions meeting requirements

Drive technical design discussions for complex features

Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing

Improve squad development processes focusing on efficiency and quality





Identify and resolve technical challenges to ensure stability and performance

Stay updated with emerging technologies and advocate for adoption

Maintain thorough documentation for systems, features, and processes

Requisitos principales 5+ years of professional software engineering experience

Proficiency with React, Node.js, JavaScript/Typescript, GraphQL, Next.js, and cloud infrastructure

Strong coding practices and testing methodologies

Experience with landing experiences, performance optimization, SEO/AEO, and high-scale content is a plus

Solid understanding of system architecture and scalable cloud infrastructure

Troubleshooting and performance optimization expertise

Effective cross-functional communication and collaboration

Experience mentoring engineers and fostering a learning culture

Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)

Commitment to high-quality, well-tested, maintainable code

Fluency in English for multi-location coordination collaboration and teamwork clear communication mentoring mindset
