Finance & Operations Specialist

Location: Madrid (Spain) or Hurden (Switzerland) — one role, either location

Role Description

We are looking for a hands-on, organised, and proactive professional to support Finance & Operations in an international pharmaceutical environment. The role combines operational supply chain coordination with day-to-day finance support and requires a systematic person who can execute accurately, work across functions, and help improve processes.

Responsibilities

- Manage order administration and customer service to ensure timely, accurate execution.
- Monitor accounts receivable and support payment collection.
- Monitor accounts payable and support invoice validation and payment processing.
- Support month-end close activities,



reconciliations, accruals, and reporting preparation.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and help implement practical solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

- 2 to 5 years of experience in Operations, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance, or a similar hybrid role.
- Experience in pharma, biotech, FMCG, or another regulated industry is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems; CRM exposure is a plus.
- Strong Excel skills; Power BI or similar reporting tools are an advantage.
- Interest in AI-driven and digital tools is an advantage.
- Highly organised, analytical, and detail-oriented, with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
- Excellent English skills; German, French, or another European language is an advantage.

Nice to Have

- Experience with Microsoft Business Central
- Experience with Salesforce.
- Experience with Visio, Miro, or similar tools for process mapping.
- Experience in a small-company environment with broad responsibilities.
