Frontend Lead Engineer - Prime (Hybrid) We're seeking an experienced Engineering Manager in Barcelona or Madrid (Spain) to lead a team of backenders and frontenders engineers to foster the growth of the subscriber base for our unique subscription program at eDreams Odigeo. 5 brands: eDreams, GO Voyages, Opodo, Travellink, and the metasearch engine Liligo This entire Prime experience is powered by a proprietary, industry-leading AI platform that delivers a smarter, hyper-personalised service and comprehensive travel experience globally to its members. Working with top-notch tech stack including ES6 code, Javascript libraries like ReactJS, Graphql, storybook to speed up developments, testing frameworks and libraries like Jest, React testing library and Cypress, Style Sheet preprocessors like SASS, CSS-in-JS and styled-components, Dockerized modules, Git workflow with continuous integration.

Collaborating with Product, Business, Architecture, Data Science to shape the technical strategy and evolution of the Prime domain, define the technical strategy for your modules and ensure their optimal performance Helping your team translate functional specifications into high-performance logical technical design and code and split the work into smaller tasks that add quick value to customers Leading a high performing cross functional agile team of 7-10 experienced software engineers and developers Taking an active role in finding and hiring the best talent available, in collaboration with our recruiters,



and onboard new joiners into our culture of high performance, collaboration and growth Managing performance, setting goals and prioritising work for your team, balancing the capacity of the team Establish a sense of identity, engagement and belonging in your team, and improve team dynamics - in collaboration with your dedicated agile coach Knowledge and experience with coding, OO design, system design, performance tuning, performance engineering, design patterns, data modelling Javascript and code base knowledge Experience with Applied AI Tools: Demonstrated comfort using practical AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or other AI-powered coding assistants. Curiosity and eagerness to explore, experiment with, and integrate emerging AI-driven solutions into software development workflows. Ability to take fast and data driven decisions High standards around quality and technical excellence in coding Collaboration with AI: Experience or interest in collaborating closely with AI tools as "pair programmers" to complement traditional software development practices.
