Overview
As Lead Architect for the Borders portfolio, you shape the architectural direction of border management products and drive transformation within Information Services. You partner with the CTO and senior teams to align with strategic goals, balancing security, user experience, and regulatory needs. You will influence technology choices, threat modeling, and capability development, working across product teams and government clients. This role offers the chance to impact border operations at scale and contribute to innovative, customer‑centric solutions.

Responsabilidades
- Define and lead the technical strategy for the Borders portfolio in partnership with the CTO
- Develop and review accurate documentation
- Represent design decisions at the Software Design Authority
- Assess portfolio-level change requests
- Collaborate with product teams on design and technical debt
- Lead threat modelling and security documentation
- Drive capability modelling
- Define architectural guiderails
- Support consulting architects
- Contribute to M&A; technical assessments
Requisitos principales
- About 10 years of IT experience
- Ability to develop and execute portfolio-level architecture strategies
- Hybrid solution design expertise
- Strong security-by-design principles
- Experience navigating regulatory environments
- Collaborative and cross-team execution
- Expertise in cloud, containers, and identity systems
- Knowledge of border control and immigration processes
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
