Scope / (Content Leadership): Skilled in solving a wide range of business problems with technology in creative and effective ways. Contributes to delivery in challenging projects and designs, builds, tests, and implements (first-time deployments) integrated, resilient, and reliable solutions Responsible for the completion of milestones associated with specific projects Communicates and presents complex information, issues, and potential solutions on assigned projects and to cross-functional teams. Networks with senior internal and external personnel within their area of expertise.
Represents the organization on assigned projects and serves as a consultant to internal/external stakeholders on technical matters Plays a lead role responsible for key deliverables on projects and influences the decisions and direction of the project. May lead small project teams and mentor/lead individuals in the workgroup. Ensures that solutions and components comply with Quality/Regulatory standards and that technology designs adhere to the organization's architectural strategy, policies, and direction Demonstrates proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse team members and virtual teams from various locations and cultural backgrounds to achieve project or product goals network management, Platform Compute and Storage).
Understands the business needs of assigned projects and maintains a general knowledge of other related disciplines Demonstrated experience independently addressing a broad range of difficult technical problems and contributing to challenging projects Experience in designing, building, testing, and implementing integrated, reliable IT infrastructure solutions Experience representing workgroups on project teams, managing milestones, and potentially leading small project teams or mentoring individuals Background in Linux/Unix Server technologies (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, Satellite) In-depth knowledge in a specific IT infrastructure technology area (such as Platform, Compute and Storage, Network Management, ERP Technology Management, High Performance Computing, Datacenter Management, or Database Management) Knowledge in coding and scripting (Python, Perl and/or Ruby) including the usage of distributed version control and source code management tools (ie GIT: bitbucket, github) Strong understanding of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service environment, applying Scrum and Agile methodologies Experience with automation/configuration management using either Ansible, Puppet or an equivalent Ability to act as a technical consultant to internal and external stakeholders and build networks with senior personnel Together, more than 100'000 employees across the globe are dedicated to advance science, ensuring everyone has access to healthcare today and for generations to come.
