Overview

In this role you drive safety, robustness and reliability in product design across squads. You will guide cross-functional teams with DfSR methods, shaping design decisions and quality outcomes. You’ll build and execute risk-based plans, animate reviews, and coach engineers to embed a quality mindset. This position sits at the heart of Schneider Electric’s push toward safer, more reliable solutions and sustainable transformation.

Responsabilidades
- Act as a quality reference for new product design (Safety and Reliability)
- Mobilize and lead cross-functional, multicultural teams
- Coordinate project activities and reporting
- Advance continuous improvement of quality methods and standards
- Promote DfSR adoption among stakeholders across squads
- Assess design-level critical elements of offers (system, subsystem, assembly, component)
- Develop, execute, and report DfSR plans and lead quality reviews




- Train and coach design engineering staff in DfSR methods and tools

Requisitos principales
- Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering or quality experience
- Experience in Design for Reliability (DfSS, DfSR)
- Experience with electromechanical power management and electronics is preferred
- Experience working in an agile product development environment
- Proficiency with CTQ, VOC, AHP, QFD, P-diagram, Design FMEA, FTA
- Knowledge of DOE, tolerancing, worst-case, RSS, Monte Carlo methods
- Statistical reliability tools (Minitab, Reliasoft, JASP)
- Problem-solving methodologies (Six Sigma, 8D, 5 Whys)
- Software: Reliasoft, Jama, Minitab, JASP, CETOL
- Certifications: Design for Six Sigma, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, CRE, ISO9001 (preferred)
- Languages: Spanish and English proficiency
- Travel availability and driving license
