Overview

In this role you will shape a high-performing, distributed backend platform that handles recipe execution, events, and jobs. You’ll work with a cross-functional team to scale and secure complex systems, balancing performance, durability, and concurrency. You’ll contribute across the full development lifecycle, improving the core engine and integrating diverse storage and messaging technologies. Responsabilidades

- Build, extend, and troubleshoot Go and Ruby applications, including microservices
- Improve the execution engine for custom code (Ruby DSL, isolation, performance) and add new features
- Write clean, testable Ruby and Go code
- Integrate data storage solutions (Postgres, S3, DynamoDB, Kafka, ClickHouse)
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle and perform code reviews
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs,



propose improvements, and maintain code quality and automation
- Collaborate with distributed teams and prepare for Rust/Wasm usage in the future

Requisitos principales

- 5+ years of experience in scalable distributed backend development
- Strong understanding of databases, load balancers, app servers, message brokers, caching, and monitoring
- Solid knowledge of network protocols and stacks
- Experience with traditional and NoSQL DB technologies
- Strong foundations in data structures and algorithms
- Multilingual programming experience with Ruby, Go, and Rust
- Excellent debugging, analytical, problem-solving, and social skills
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject, 7+ years of industry experience
- Willingness to work remotely with globally distributed teams
