About the Role
We are currently looking for a Mathematics Tutor to provide face-to-face home tuition in central Madrid to students in Years 7 to 9.
Responsibilities
- Deliver weekly face-to-face Mathematics lessons at the student's home in central Madrid.
- Support students across the Years 7–9 / Key Stage 3 Mathematics curriculum.
- Identify gaps in knowledge and adapt lessons to each student's individual needs.
- Explain mathematical concepts clearly and help students build confidence and independence.
- Prepare appropriate exercises, materials and homework when required.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback.
- Maintain consistent communication with Think Ahead Academy regarding the student's development and any relevant academic needs.
Qualifications
- Strong academic background in Mathematics, Engineering, Sciences or a related field.
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience, ideally with students aged approximately 11–14.
- Good knowledge of Key Stage 3 / British curriculum Mathematics.
- Excellent level of English, as lessons may be delivered in English.
- Ability to explain mathematical concepts in a clear, structured and engaging way.
- Reliable, professional and committed approach.
- Availability to travel to students' homes within central Madrid.

Pay range and compensation package
Rate: €25–€28 per hour, depending on experience and profile.
Format: Face-to-face, one-to-one tuition at the student's home.
Location: Central Madrid.
Schedule: To be agreed according to student and tutor availability, primarily during weekday afternoons.
