Medical Science Liaison - VaccinesPresenta candidaturalocations: Job SummaryThe MSL is a field-based medical professional responsible for providing medical & scientific information for the Seqirus vaccines with a focus in a large part of Spain, focusing on the licensed vaccines and late-stage portfolio. This role requires high level of collaboration with medical and commercial operations functions to ensure activities are in line with Seqirus Spain strategic objectives as well as ensure to act in compliance and respect of all national laws and regulations and Seqirus compliance standards.
Principal
Accountabilities1 - External facing Communicate new and other important approved medical content to targeted health care professionals (HCPs) in local, regional or national capacities including Vaccines HCP decision-makers, national and regional key opinion leaders, national and regional professional associations, payer groups at regional and national level, government organizations, primary care key stakeholders at regional level and any other HCP who may be considered an influencer for flu protection in Spain.
Provide internally product and indication expertise for any Seqirus/CSL colleague (e.g. field force training, develop and update medical slides, medical review and copy clearance, etc.).
Deliver presentations to relevant stakeholders in accordance with the designated medical strategy established by the Spanish, European and Global Medical Affairs team.
Facilitate both Seqirus sponsored clinical trials,
collaborative research, and investigator initiated research activities, as determined by Medical Affairs and in accordance with Seqirus SOPs (Seqirus sponsored research site/investigator interactions, IIR inquiries, etc.).
2 – Internal facing and Cross-Functional Collaboration Provide internally product and indication expertise for any Seqirus/CSL colleague (e.g. field force training, develop and update medical slides, medical review and copy clearance, etc.).
Engage and collaborate with Market Access, Sales Team, Customer Services, Communications and Medical Affairs teams locally and at EMEA level.Participate to all compliance training in line with timelines and Code of Practice requirements.
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies Scientific Degree as Medical Doctor (MD) or PhD or Master in life science (e.g. pharmacy, biology, chemistry...).
3 years of relevant work experience, including 2 or more years of experience in clinical and/or health services education or research (preferably in the pharmaceutical industry).
Experience in infectious diseases, epidemiology, vaccines and public health and the Spanish health care system.
Excellent and demonstrated use of modern communication, hard- and software and communication platforms (e.g. MS Office, internet-based mobile working, etc.).
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Required to be adaptable in working hours* Willingness for travelling throughout Spain and abroad;
