Role Description The Occupational Therapist will provide comprehensive, client-centered therapeutic services to individuals onsite at the Málaga location in a full-time capacity. Daily responsibilities include assessing functional abilities, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions to support independence in daily activities. The role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, communicating progress to clients and families, and adjusting therapy plans based on outcomes and evolving needs.
The Occupational
Therapist will document assessments,
treatments, and progress according to professional standards, contribute to rehabilitation programs, and participate in continuous improvement of clinical practices.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation, with the ability to design and implement individualized intervention plans.
- Relevant knowledge of Medicine to understand clinical conditions, contraindications, and interdisciplinary care needs.
- Effective Communication skills to work with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams, and to document clearly and professionally.
- Experience or interest in Pediatrics, including supporting children’s developmental, educational, and functional needs.
- Completed degree in Occupational Therapy and valid professional registration or license as required by local regulations.
- Experience in clinical or community-based therapy settings; familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches is an advantage.
- Ability to work onsite in Málaga, manage a diverse caseload, and maintain ethical, client-centered practice.
- Basic computer and documentation skills; proficiency in Spanish and working knowledge of English is preferred.
